THE STORY

The mission of Clifton Catering is to provide a high-quality experience, with bold flavors, while providing genuine and authentic service for all guests. We stand firmly on these key factors, because they are part of the foundation of hospitality in the restaurant industry. We aim to a premier catering service, specializing in Modern Comfort food, with worldly influences. Furthermore, creating an interactive space for our clients through social media, and community events.

Chef Marcus Williams started Clifton Catering Co with a dream to transform flavors of classic dishes, while incorporating influences from his Cajun/Creole roots. The original idea "Latise Bakery", started as draft for a business class, then was challenged by the instructor.  In 2012 after accepting an assignment of baking multiple gourmet cookie trays, he presented the business to multiple students, then expanded his network and sales just through word of mouth on campus.  He began his professional journey through education with Louisiana Culinary Institute, an ACF accredited private college in 2013. And he has studied under world class chefs, mastering techniques from around the world.  Upon completion , received his Associate degree and certification from ACF as well.

 Furthermore, he enlisted in the U.S Army in 2014 , where he proudly served 7yrs.  Chef completed his Bachelor's of Science in Hotel /Restaurant/ Tourism Management from the University of New Orleans.  Where he focused on the hospitality industry as a whole, including sharpening his culinary skills. He has been able to train alongside many great chefs, including working with the Augusta National Golf Club for "The Master's" . Helping to lead 2 diverse restaurants over 4 years and learning from chefs from around the world.
